With the Digital Letter, municipalities and authorities send correspondence digitally via ePost. Recipients receive the mail in their digital inbox within the Post app, provided they have an activated ePost account. If this is not the case, the item is physically delivered to the mailbox.
How the Digital Letter works
- Your authority submits the document to ePost via SmartSend.
- ePost automatically checks for each recipient whether digital delivery is possible.
- If this is the case, the person receives the correspondence directly in digital form. Otherwise, it is physically delivered as a letter.
Your benefit: You save on printing, enveloping and postage for all recipients with activated digital mail reception, thereby speeding up delivery.More information: ePost SmartSend
