You can delete your company and thus your ePost account directly in ePost, provided that you are an administrator of your company.
Important notes before deletion:
- After deletion, you cannot restore any data.
- Save all important information locally on your computer beforehand.
- Observe the statutory retention obligations for certain data.
- After deletion, there is no longer any access to the account.
Preparation:
- Make sure that no other users have access to your company (delete users in the «Users» menu).
- Deactivate all active widgets via «Get widgets» > «My widgets».
- Settle all outstanding invoices. If you are unsure, submit a request via the ePost support platform or use the support chat (bottom left on the platform).
How to delete your company:
- Go to «Company» and select «Change company details».
- Click on «Delete company» at the bottom.
- If any users are still active or widgets have not been deactivated, we will ask you to remove these first.
- Once you have completed these steps, you will receive a verification code by e-mail (valid for 10 minutes).
- Enter the code and click on «Delete».
- You will receive a confirmation message and an e-mail confirmation of the successful deletion of your company in ePost.
